Who we are
Destination Mallorca (“we”, “us”) operates destinationmallorca.eu and is the data controller for the personal data collected through this website. For any question about your data, or to exercise the rights set out below, contact us atinfo@destinationmallorca.eu.
What we collect and why
- Enquiry forms: your name, email address, optional phone number, the property your enquiry concerns, and your message. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). We use this information only to respond to your enquiry and arrange viewings or follow-up you have asked for.
- Analytics: page views, session data, and conversion events collected through Google Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager). Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given through the cookie banner. Nothing is collected until you accept.
- Spam protection: Cloudflare Turnstile runs on our forms to block automated submissions. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Where your data is stored
Enquiries are stored in our database, hosted by Supabase within the European Union. We retain enquiry records for up to 24 months to manage follow-ups, viewings and matching, after which they are deleted, unless a transaction creates a longer legal or accounting obligation.
Third parties who process your data
We share personal data only with the processors needed to operate this site and respond to you:
- Supabase: enquiry database, hosted in the EU.
- Resend: delivery of enquiry confirmations and our internal notification email.
- Cloudflare: website hosting and Turnstile anti-spam verification.
- Sanity: content management for property listings (no form data).
- Google: Analytics 4 (via Google Tag Manager), only after you accept cookies.
We intend to add WhatsApp (Meta) for enquiry notifications, and this policy will be updated before that goes live. Each processor operates under its own privacy terms and, where data is transferred outside the EEA, under Standard Contractual Clauses.
Cookies
Essential cookies required for the site to function may be set without consent. No analytics cookies are set before you accept them through our cookie banner. Until you accept, tracking is disabled by default under Google Consent Mode v2. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s storage in your browser.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data; to restrict or object to its processing; to withdraw consent at any time; and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact info@destinationmallorca.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, theAEPD.
